I read this up until the part where his mom is pregnant with him while inside the ruins, theres no mention that he is a dragon, at the very least base on that hes human baby
Okay here’s my theory:
MC IS Darkness… The God that devoured the sun and the moon. And afterwards for some reason, he separated his godly powers from his consciousness and made it a separate entity. He then lived as a normal person in a different universe but then made a wish to own all the books that somehow called back his powers and he came back to his original world. Inky/Blackie/whatever name it had… Is actually what he truly wants and it is helping MC in giving knowledge to all these people in order to right all the wrongs that he has committed. The MC, however, isn’t ready to face all this and hence Inky is keeping MC in the dark to better prepare him for the future.
The picture from his childhood kind of gives off a hint, I believe. Like no matter how normally he lived in that world, his true nature had an effect on his life and his surroundings.
