Idk why they didn’t follow how the story goes in the orig source and that’s kinda disappointing since this scenario was really good in the novel. Changing it to shorten the manhua is like cutting off some of the most important plot in the novel
Actually, this isn’t in the orig storyline.. the story goes like, mc visiting his old classmate that only one guy who talks to him during his awakening ceremony day i forgot his name.. he’s the one getting parasitized by the soul devouring beast. He ended up bring the poor guy to his masters for a check up. It’s kinda brutal, he’s body is deteriorating he has no legs and arms I guess. That shows how loving and kind mc truly is and he pay back those who are kind to him. The story also shows how intelligent and smart the mc is, he also saw what meng anwen says in the text, he found that hidden info in the text where the souls devouring beast actually provides opportunity for the human race not just danger and calamity
So… Tey are just going to skip a whole arc from the novel as usual? In the novel Moyu never got infected with a soul devouror, but his old classmate/friend got infected, from the start of the manhwa, the goofy knight guy. And it came from the depth of a dungeon… It actually got some plot in the story so I don’t understand why are they gonna just skip it…
