Now this is something I hate about this type of manhuas , when the mc gets his cheat and becomes strong enough he uses every chance he has to act arrogantly even in front of people who are actually humble and are not trying to pick a fight, he just provokes because he can.
Depends on the series you’ve read I suppose. But to me, the vast majority of it, characters JUUUUST mess with MC for one reason or another.
This is one of the notable ones where MC is the arrogant one. But even then, he’s not cartoonishly evil. It’s still a competition afterall, he’s well within his rights to decline offer of cooperation.
Meanwhile, other characters (in other series) would go:
– mwahahaha, MC you are a loser
– I am a rich Y, from family Y
– My minions, beat him up
– MC kicks their ass
– Oh no, how did this happen to me?
I get your point and usually that’s the case but tbh I think this mc just wants to read as much benefits from exam as possible so he probably wanted to solo it and reap all the ability pt
