I’m going to be one of those guys right now but these authors and artists have 0 clue on animal traits. like take this last beast for example, the blades on the outside of the arm are completely useless as cats don’t swing their arms from one corner of their attack range to the other like we do, cats and especially big cats scratch up and down and at a slight angle. Also the blade being further up their arm than their claws would just decrease area of attack and leaving a big gap for predators or prey fighting back to get past is attack the face
