Summary

hahahaha I know how it looks, but please allow me to reclaim some of my dignity, you see honestly speaking it was because I was team romantica, now I've read some open ended novels and manga in the past so I'm not new to this specially if it was done right, there where even some works out there that after being open ended, the the illustrators took it upon themselves to give the community multiple endings with each of the FMCs on the original story as a way to giveback to the fans, but there are also other works where the world and the lore sometimes piques one's interest, so much so that its like an addiction or a good story that needed to have an ending.
In this case as soon as I finished the manhwa it felt like I was blue balled, and because it went open ended I started to wonder, why the fuck was it open ended, my ship's 1st mate told me he's seen land and that this ship's maiden voyage was finally at an end, so that I can board another ship on a another land of new beginnings (so that I can finally be satisfied and move on to another manhwa or novel)… and yet I'm still dead in the water… this ain't the one piece I'm trying to find and I ain't on a pirate ship, I needed to see the end so I hit up reddit's community for a quick and short answer only to find out it was split in 3 (pro novel, pro manhwa, and apparently there was also a ship for desir's sword fight with pram… albeit as a joke… I hope…) and I basically slipped onto a rabbit hole, now I was questioning why the fuck did he end up with adjest, and so here I am now reading the original work, and I can say now that yes there was more build up on adjest's side in the novel, but romantica was given the spotlight in the manhwa, and now I know why the novel readers felt like they where wronged (though to wookjakga's defense on the last chapter of the manhwa he was openly admitting his bias towards romantica, but the kicker was that he should've at least said so in the beginning, but I've figured that he initially intended to follow the original work, but somewhere along the line decided to "you know what, I don't care anymore, its balls to the walls baby!!! its my way or no one else's!!!" but then found out that the wall in the end was insurmountable and the budget was probably tight as it was already… (sigh…) at least now my mind is eased), what I should have done as a good reader was read the original work 1st and than read the manhwa to avoid this state that I was in, and now I sleep with a peaceful mind…

hmm that's odd to my understanding after going through the web novel's comment section the real ending was with adjest, specially on ch 314 of the novel and it actually ended at the coronation part of the novel where adjest asks him to be with her forever and the mc takes her and kisses it, looking at reddit and forums on the manhwa novel readers commented that adjest had a lot more build up as the love interest than what was in the manhwa, and as the story progressed they cared for each other which later became affection, it stayed consistent on 3 web novel sites that i visited too, i haven't started with the novel itself yet but they say a lot of adjest + desir build up was cut out, heck i recently learned that the tyrant tula arc in the novel desir used only magic + strategy to defeat it but the manhwa just went "hahaha dragon tongue goes brrr" i would've loved to see desir surpass his old self without dragon tongue magic
i really need to read the novel myself now

update, I finished it earlier today, yeah i was too fast to judge since it was just after the MC used it to clap a raid boss (DDF or daedanuf translations are a bit fuzzy on the naming so i just call it DDF) and ended up in a coma.
I kinda feel shitty Wookjakga who does the manhwa did us dirty by making an open ending, with his announcement that he was already looking at FMC 1 to end things since he started the illustrations, i really wish he didn't do that, if he wanted to end things he could have went full force with his bias and ended it that way, at least that would have made the fans more curious on how anime adaptation would end, since Usonan the original author of the LN ended it the way Usonan preferred it, honestly i got too attached Wookjakga could have gone the extra mile by providing two additional chapters with MC ending up with FMC 1 and the other chapter with FMC 2 like the way Amagami and Seiren did its endings but thats just my opinion still it was a good read thanks XD

Since the MC managed to build up the courage to enter the labyrinth he was able to survive till now even at the face of death. But if that guy can't even enter the labyrinth how do you expect him to go with the advise you are expecting the MC to give? He will just repeat the same mistakes. That's why the MC told him to go away with the money and do as he wishes. Now he either builts up his courage by himself and enters the labyrinth or spent the money away lavishly.
