Honestly, I’m confused by the strength levels… the piercing guy was 4 times stronger than Candy Girl, the nerfed version of the entrance tournament. Then the ghost samurai was several times stronger than her, but MC said he was low tier rank 2. Why are they using the 10th strongest person in the WORLD, but not at his peak strength, as a comparison? And why should I believe that the protagonist is stronger now after the fight on the island? Is it because of the new weapon that drains his mana and therefore limits the little tank he has, or should I believe that offscreen he was doping on supermarket potions?
