Yep when you play you lear through repeats ( dying respawning or basic knowledge from other games ) but they are just humans who trained bosses are made to challenge player so typically made to kill a player few times, they don’t have few times…
I think I know what the author is trying to do here, all the playable characters are dying because there’s no player behind them and this is how the playable characters would actually end up like if the player didn’t control them the players are who change and control how the story should go and this is what would happen if the players didn’t interfere. But I could be overthinking and there’s so higher being killing off these people
