Mentor shouldn’t have ghosted him just because he was disappointed. MC could’ve asked these problems earlier. But then again, because of Mentor’s absence, he enrolled in those extra lectures which helped him in various problems. If Mentor was there, the chibi dude would probably convince MC to just concentrate on the two he suggested.

I was wondering if this causality was closer to fate or destiny jurisdiction, because what he learned somehow helped him with current situational problems.

And like those heroes in myths and legends, who goes thru trials to acquire the knowledge or weapon they need to slay the monster or fulfill a quest… MC shows this struggle too, in this case, finance is the shortcut and compacked version of that hero’s journey trial.

Annnd, would desperation and actual need factor in as well, influencing the price point… Bec if he could comfortably pay for every pass, lecture, and equipment, the lessons would become meaningless with no sense of urgency…
