No really, why isn’t he using Vassal Summon if he recognizes somebody might die. What’s the point of crying out “Nooooo!” if he can do something about it.
Actually, why can’t he just absorb projectiles with his inventory from a distance? It was established that he can not only send but also retrieve items in his inventory through his vassals when his grandfather took a video on a phone and sent it back to him.
So he had 2 options to protect her:
1. Teleport her home, which would leave the team without a healer but he could just teleport the rest of them back one by one.
2. Put the arrow in his inventory, which we know wasn’t traveling too fast because he was catching bullets with his inventory in a previous chapter.
Also, he could just, drop a barbell between the arrow and her using his inventory, which would block the arrow.
They all already walk too far, yes he can summon her, but the party will lose one support. Imagine being teleported back to the apartment and losing the chance of seeing family when its just in front of them. I would be mad too.
