Logically I get it. I can 100% understand the dads feelings and thinking even though I disagree with him. He’s a top ranked military figure and basically an asset to his country. He lives his son however since he found out that his son would die early He’s kept his emotions down to spare himself the pain. He wishes the best for his son however and just wants him to live the rest of his life freely and without having to look over his back
