i get that this is a korean story but why is dwarf smiths worse than koreans? they arent exactly known for great ironwork and we are talking about the legendary race of smiths i get the koreans have a inferiority complex and i let it slide with the “our foot soldiers are your swordmasters” and “our mythical beast eats yours for breakfast” but come on at least make it believable whats next? koreans live longer than elves? got skin harder than lizardmen? their blood cures cancer?
Stop self inserting other stories or books or movies you have seen into this. This author has a different story to show to the audience, and in this case the dwarves are inferior in smithing, so what? And you’re forgetting that these koreans are not from this world and have got other worldly powers which has not been revealed yet, so it’s even more justified they will superior to others races.
You need to actually read. The Dwarves are really good at what they do. But what they do is supplemented with magic. You don’t need to be perfect at refinement of metals if you have magic. But seeing that these humans have a technique that does rid metals of impurities, of course they would want to learn it.
