Why shouldn’t he have said that? He was talking it over quietly with her, hence her being surprised that he even heard her. The big guy was going to find any reason to rile them up against MC anyway. He was eavesdropping while they were saying the obvious, intentionally took it out of context in order to take over the group. Letting those people follow him freely weeded out the ones who would cause problems anyway. MC pretty much just let the trash take itself out. The ones left are either team players, logical thinkers or have the sense to follow orders lol.

The Big Guy is a jerk but MC shouldn’t have said that either. Him saying only 30% needs to make it CAN be taken negatively.
Although, I get the feeling the BIg Guy will end up using that as his win condition anyway.
