Most people in the comment section are not using their brain. Bruh, he died YOUNG. His battle experience is just f*ckin 5 years. And he died from that same energy 5hat he’s dealing right now, meaning he hasn’t had a way to deal with it that’s why in his current body which is way way weaker than his old self, he’s cramming right now and thinking of ways to deal with it.
He has 5 years worth of experience fighting monsters more dangerous than this one i get it he’s terrified of the dark mage but the least i expect with someone with this much experience is to be composed he’s acting like a rookie the least you can do is have an eye on the monster while you think but no to that as well wtf

2. He weak right now because his body cant handle even 4 star magic
3. He was a 5 star mage previously
4. There is a strong dark mage nearby and that is what killed him previously with no way to cure him
5. He never got to gain much practical experience outside of the hero journey thing so he still not a mature person.
