Heh… I like this manwha a lot… but I’m tired of the cliche ultraoverpowered blood sect/cult/clan with extremely overpowered techniques, puppets, experiments, etc… If this was a normal thing, why on earth weren’t they exterminated before becoming so OP? Is a bit absurd.. Just like the canibal crazy young master that gets stronger in martial arts by canibalism? Really? That is the laziest excuse to make someone overpowered in a world of martial arts…

The Blood Cult is actually just one branch of a larger demonic cult/sect. This world once went through a massive war that involved the demonic cults themselves. After the war ended, there were only scattered and mixed reports about Blood Cult activity.
Only a handful of people actually know the truth(like MC, his master, and his subordinates). The rest? Completely ignorant.
Take the people of Sichuan, for example The mindless puppets were creations of the blood cult. The people of sichuan only found out about this later(after mc telling them) despite having believed for years that the Blood Cult and demonic cult had already been completely wiped out
Sure, let us say the typical records were destroyed, and through time, memories of such ancient times were lost as well. All good.
But the overpowered Blood Sect/Cult, is a bit too much. And this plot, is quite common in murium/jianghu/whatever novels. And it kinda breaks the immersion, in my opinion of course. Yes, there are plenty of fantasy elements, but those are trained either way, they are mastered, etc. But these Blood Sects/Cults are the author’s unnoficial child, always getting 40 power ups out of nowhere, 30 godly and unkillable puppets, and the typical vampiric heir that could easily be Dracula in Castlevania by how overpowered is since freaking birth.
And regarding that, memory will not change anything. Is an absurd element that breaks the martial arts world, and the scales of power/effort/training/talent…
