I know im a month late, but do you have no reading comprehension? The plan Flora Lawrence came up with to hold back Chronos was to have an aura knight release their aura to the maximum. This would cause the surroundings to become mana saturated preventing mages from detecting the trap. If Rodwell couldn’t use aura then he wouldn’t have been able to pull it off and would never have lost his eye.
