Truly amazing story 👏👏 plot , characters, design, narration, dynamics between character, and all was top notch , just remember the first chap started with nothing.
Great First season. Hope this gets another season or an anime because it deserves it. If anyone is curious to know what happens next, I recommend the light novel. I’m not much of a reader but I liked this story enough to look for an LN of it, just to try it out and it didn’t disappoint. I won’t spoil but I can say that it was a very good read, so if you can tolerate books rather than manga panels and you are interested, give it a go.
Wait, I think she died in the LN, right? He couldn’t rescue her and she bled alone until she died because no one have the time to save her, and he stayed blaming himself for not be able to save her like what happened with that professor. why they changed the plot, she don’t have any addition to the the story anymore.
Yeah same I remember her dying in the Ln tbh I was confused when I saw her then again if u remember at the first arcs, when lortel was planning to take over of the student directorkes in the LN Ed killed that maid but here I think it said that he just defeated her
I am a bit of a skimmer when reading so I can’t confirm EVERYTHING, but I can confirm that Lucy did NOT die. Won’t spoil anything else, but I know this thread may leave some non LN viewers questioning. Also, she doesn’t lose her value to the plot in the slightest. While she isn’t a centre focus, she is still prevalent in the story further in.
only 5 days later am i reading this and thinking: “was he talking about adele?” To answer that if thats what you meant, then yes she did die in the LN i believe. It has been a bit of time since i read this particular part though, so I may be wrong, though i don’t believe I am.

Season 1 is beautiful but what did he mean lucy disappeared, is she like gone gone because of fulfilling her grandfather’s wish?
SmthRndm
I think he meant the threat of Act 3’s boss is gone, since she never did anything in the first place. From my memory nothing happened to Lucy.
