ᚱ (Raido) is the rune symbolizing travel so given he opened a gate with it that makes sense.
Assuming the artist/author actually bothered to do it right the other rune is ᚫ (ansuz) which invokes the gods and/or ancestors, flipping it around like that reverses the meaning so it’s basically blocking those or suggesting travel to a place without them.
you just have to look for nordic runes and their meaning.
tbh, is not worth it, its just the usual wanabe smartass useless knowlage to pose your smartassness in partys where no one give a f@k about it.
