Sometimes author go out of his way to add extra cool details and give us appropriate responses
But what with show having to many meaningless death and Mc or anyone else care about it
It’s feel like all of them are just canon fodder who just wasting per panel for death without any actual meaning or effect towards any characters
Mc senses dark mana and even warn but didn’t bother to defend them while they were busy talking to Mc
sometimes it’s important to show that to show the gravity of the situation or if that keeps happening you’d later complain that it’s a stupid story everything goes according to the story its boring and stuff so that’s why it’s important to sometimes kill ppl
The meaningless death part is sort of normal in a lot of these types of stories set in the middle ages and older. Mostly due to the fewer records and checks made for individuals rather than a group unlike what we have now. So its vastly easier to disregard the life of a random solider who hasn’t accomplished much. Or even if they die most higher ups can spin it however they desire since most families cant spend the resources to figure out what actually happened to their family member in the case they die or go missing.
So let me get this shit straight. He helped his servant by knocking him out with a neck chop. But just said stop to the knight rotating and killin himself. bitch, what? Was the author on something while writing this story? Like god damn, there have been so many unnecessary deaths up until this chapter, and I am sure there will be in the future, too. He could have easily neck-chopped the knight, too. hec,k he could have even caught the spear if he were that great of a dark knight. Man, the people in the previous chapter commenting on the story was shit, were true. What the fuck even was the author on, like god damn.
Don’t be this guy. The knight escort was already a good distance from him, and further moving away when ambushed. So no, he wasn’t catching that. Victor, his friend, has no training whatsoever. So he wouldn’t have any defense against the scent. He was also right next to him. Last, but not least, he’s incredibly weak and a simple chop like that would work on him. Not only would such a thing not work on a trained knight, not one was there distance between them, but the MC has observed that the essence takes a while. The dark mage is using a more potent version that’s working almost immediately. Y’all complain about MCs being entirely OP beyond anyone else in the story. Yet, when I story shows you they’re NOT all powerful, you complain about that too.
