People here expecting there to be justice for the Old Man, forgetting that his death is meant to be tragic to us, not to the MC and his family. I doubt they even care.
The blind old mans family should have a big break going their way… Authors, while your readers want to be the OP MC, having the lowest tiered npcs get some justice even kinda seconhanded… is a big thing
The guys had their pride crushed, beat nearly to death and the main knight lost his sword arm. His life is pretty much over and about to be a world of suffering from that point.
