Hmph. I personally think it would make a decent amount more sense for MC to become a prosecutor. The higher up you go the more power you get over this. The entire problem he had in his past life was that he was blocked by his superiors from investigating further. That wouldn’t really change even with his family safe. He needs more power.
But well…. it looks like the author has other plans so I guess we’ll just have to see how it plays out.
