I’m fine with all the things happening before but this is honestly author forcing the story to progress so he could give MC some boost. The Ancient God is still alive, so why does he think it’s save to go to the brain? I know that he is cursed so he will only think to go to the brain but it’s too forceful for the story. Not saying I hate it, but I certainly don’t like it either so I’m kinda neutral in my stance here.
I also wanna add, MC was also cursed before but even the tree couldn’t respond to save him and it was the ring that ‘Dreamer’ gave him that saved his life. But now the tree could save him when his opponent is at a similar power level to the previous creature that cursed him.

i found the peace already a loot to fast. as much as i understood, all 30 levels is a “jobadvancment”, right?
the first guy he beat was level 30, almost double his level.
the next was the sowardskill, with him he could beat ppl that where at the 5th advancment? 5×30= 150.
with the explosion of his babybuggs he could harm? someone at the 7th?8th jobadvancment. 7×30=210 and if he was in the 8th jobadvancment than it would be 240.
now lets dont forget, he was at that time still level around 30, and he is it still, but his opponent is already a god, a weakened one, but still a god?
makes sense, makes totaly sense…..not realy. this comic beann god and turned to the usual chinese bullshitstorys.
the former ones where curses, this one is a possesion, both are diffent things.
we are at chapter 40, he is still around level 30, and can battle gods, even if weakened? yes, sure…….chinese, what else is there to say? they come with/steal an intresting story and mess it up with their usual bullshit.
this is the problem with chinese manhua’s in general, the MC’s advance way too fast, in a mere 50 chapters they tend to obtain planetary destruction levels… it’s just too boring, thats why i love “Solo Leveling” it was fun to read and watch, cause it takes a lot effort for the mc to get there, but in chinese manhuas, the dude usually awakens and on day 1 obliterates everybody, by day 10 he is on par with superhumans and everybody is in shock and awe while he is doing it, everybody wants to give mc something just to be on a good side of him, it is exactly same story… with that said, i still ready this crap cause i got nothign else to read, since stuff i usually read is all caught up and ongoing…
