Marev really deserve to be a stepping stone. He is somewhat slow on the uptake. Fast enough but slower than the current political players. And while Marev should be a stepping stone, Gale should be the fodder that’ll help increase Ian’s influence. 🤔

And I wonder if Ian will meet an ancestor or familiar face closer to his era or at least old enough folk to exist in his timeline. It’s establish that other races have longer lifespan than ordinary humans after all.
