Wow… Gale’s on point about Marev. I may start to get frustrated with these two but I really admire how the author made them fully fleshed out characters. Even when compared to the MC. My irritation with their choices and actions (or inaction) is just an addition to the compliment. Got me immersed enough to be annoyed at something an imaginary character have done, and with how they were written.

Anyways.

Ian can’t depend on the first prince in anything. He’s compromised politically, and lacks the grit and courage. His power might only be just his title. It’ll be better for Ian to just use the first prince as a stepping stone in my opinion. Lol, as a reader I don’t have faith anymore that he is formidable in anything anymore.
I like how neither princes seems like a good person, too many stories have the prince that supports the Mc be a righteous and virtual guy while those that oppose them are greedy and evil.
Since when being cunning makes you perfect? He can lose like any other person. His older brother is cunning too. In schemes for the throne, the smallest detail can be a side’s downfall. Look at the MC, he is a regressor and has been saved by miracles outside his control, over and over again.
