This is probs nothing but the first prince, Ian from this time, and the MC Ian from the future looked the same. Even Gale and the traitor nephew waaay back then also looked similar. Of course could just be just the art and design choice, but it’s a royal fantasy setting that has good writing. Just curious how closely related they are in terms of blood.

Hmm. It’s logical that the MC has no emotional attachment to the mother, seem’s he’s mainly there for that red flower and the origins of that necklace lol, but I just feel bad for her. She clearly love her son but it’s not her Ian anymore. Though, I found it odd she’s not questioning how different he is. But she probably does off screen.

…and probably way off mark but I’m betting the mom’s no ordinary commoner from the brothel either.

Hopefully they’ll tell us what happened to og Ian’s soul at some point. Not necessary but a huge plus storywise.
