you know, after the whole emperor arc is over, i see a big final mistake in it.
the emperor wantet that his succor would be the sole ruler, all he did was for this goal, and here is the mistake. becouse there were 3 sects above him, each with powers who could crush the kingdom wile passing, for them its not important who rules the country, becouse they would eitherway get their share, and if not, a little show of power and every “unrest” would be settled.
what makes each “emperor” nothing else than a expendable pawn.
funny joke, almost each kingdom/empire in cultivation storys has to follow the orders of a sect, even if the empire rules the whole world, they are still nothing else than servants for a sect in a higher realm. so who the heck would want to make themself a slave and want to “rule”?
