No. MC is a player from Earth. The people here are technically NPCs from MC’s perspective. Currently, it seems like only those from Earth have the easy, normal, hard, and solo modes, judging from last convo with ghost. (Means someone higher up made a patch.)

The members of the Guide of Sin are adventurers from another world different from Earth. Possibly they didn’t even come from one world either and have different goals from the start since this place grants wishes.

In my theory, the people aside from the MC have no goal of conquering the tower thus effectively becoming an NPC that’s copied for the other players doing the solo mode. They’ve become mobs to populate the tower. Quest givers, mobs, point bags, etc. For example… Joining that guide of sin group fully, they’ve surrendered their autonomy. So, a henchman point bag for the MC at this point.

So far, MC haven’t met an adventurer who clearly wanted to conquer or clear the tower. That’s why I’m sticking with my theory for now. Warrior ghost died so he’s become bound and cannot fulfill that goal anymore. Any adventurers that possibly had the initial goal of conquering the tower to save their world (by becoming stronger to fight the monsters outside) that became a part of that sin group, kinda gave up their position of being a player. I wonder if staying inside for hundreds of years without progress would then convert them into a tower mob… 🤔

Anyways, that’s my theory and current headcanon. So, it is still solo mode for the mc and the plot isn’t broken on my end.
alright, something ain’t right in the story …. solo means you go in the labyrinth ALONE. unlike easy normal and hard, there is NO OTHER PLAYER but you, thus there can’t be PLAYER COLLAB… so how the fu*k those hundreds of PLAYERS made the guide sin ???????? players are not supposed to meet each other in solo mode !!!!!!!!!!
The reason its solo mode is because the maze was copied, as explained by the ghost earlier. The people who existed before the split got duplicated as well, leading to the current situation.
It doesnt make sense to be honest. If there many people entering the tower and also people from ruined worlds like mc and others, why are they suddenly split up. Ghost said there is only on tower, but the dimension is obviously split for the earth players.
