The issue is that the outer gods (go shin) forced Taesun back with an Earth quest without the usual 1-week warning. This is likely because he was about to receive a massive power boost through intermediate magic. He was clearly planning to go to the blacksmith if you look at the previous few chapters, he was just not allowed the time to do so. The go shin intentionally took him abruptly, he is becoming strong enough to be a legitimate issue for them so they are attempting to kill him before he can get stronger. Hope this helps.
Ok I am a bit confused with something, in the beginning didnt one guy come back pissed and thinking it wasnt earth and he was punked or something? If they are going back to earth it is in that state and being overrun with monsters as part of the quests and everyone around seems to treat it as real earth, so why are people acting like it is so weird when they came back after finishing?

Yes, because everyone from Earth was teleported into the maze. Imagine Earth without a single hman being to run it for days, weeks, or even months, and then suddenly come back and its more run down than it was before.

Its in almost the same state as the day they left, it was only overrun by monsters (sent by the invaders) in the beginning. That, was ironically the gods’ grace period for them. The gods of the labyrinth and realms are actually giving them a chance to fight back, by temporarily removing the monsters from Earth (the monsters were not killed, only phased into somewhere else until then) during their time in the labyrinth. To be strict, those Earth quests aren’t exactly quests, they’re more like the gods own grace period to take a break from the monster removal session – even the gods aren’t omnipotent.

This was explained in the previous chapter. Its because nobody is forcing you to do anything in the labyrinth unless you took the easy and normal modes where you have to deal with other people. A lot of people took their time in the labyrinth (which was gods’ grace period for them as I just mentioned previously) for granted, and then returning to a forsaken, invaded Earth felt like a nightmare in return, even if that was their former home.
If earth is being invaded by monsters then you suddenly transported to the tower and you select Easy Mode where you can have your peace(weak player because you are always scared or don’t want to do anything) then suddenly you came back to the infested earth with monster how will you survive?
if you reread mostly easy and normal players are the ones who are crying because they cant fight.

There is 2 possible answers: The autor just didnt had it planned for them to go back to Earth. There is a pretty similar Manwha about a guy that also goes to a tower, with different dificultss, and there people meet thought a special community dimension, and not the Earth. The Autor here probably was taking inspiration and didnt think that much ahead.
The second explanation is that the guy finished the Maze looooong time after everyone, so he thought that people in Earth would have already won against the monsters and it would be safe again.
