She has let the resentment she felt towards being abandoned by him fester for so long that it has sort of shifted into an irrational type of emotion, sort of like an obsession.
She isnt supposed to come across as completely logical or even sane. I think the person(s) making this have done a fantastic job of setting her up as someone who feels truly betrayed, desperate for answers, and perhaps a little crazy because of it.
