Although I also hate how he just stands there when enemies talks shit and stands there almost all the time but its all pretty much for the “I was wrong” typa response but I can still cope with mc letting his underlings fight for their own since his end goal is not to have an army but to raise the sects back to its former glory and them becoming a full on puppet is bad specially on this one where its logicaly right for him to just watch first since from the start he wants her to decide for herself probably connected to her awakening letting her get experience since most of the troupe is like that (near death = awakening )
