This entire story has always ‘diverged’ from the MC. As any really good world-building story must do. Asian works uniquely have this problem of just laser focusing on the MC constantly. Losing out on a lot of world-building. I really like the larger view of this world, that’s there’s a lot more going on that the main cast still don’t know of properly, it’s realistic.

Feels like at some point story diverges too much from mc. Up untill a few chapters back story focused on mc and it was fun.
