There’s definitely a plot, but the author drags it in circles forever before moving forward. Everyone’s intelligence is unbelievably low as well.
I’m also not a fan of the constant ass-pulls. Random stuff like “a monster suddenly appears out of nowhere!” only for it to be resolved instantly and then never mentioned again and it having literally no effect on the story other than serving some immediate thing the MC needs to progress. Also the fact that the author just does this shit then it's treated as if it never happened at all. A nuke could go off if the MC needed it, then in the next panel everyone is fine and behaving like it never happened.
Then there’s all this constant mana usage and weird events happening right in front of people, yet no one notices unless the plot demands it. They can sense a hint of dark mana but somehow miss a literal high-tier demon floating next to the MC? Early on they were clueless, yet the head of the house suddenly knows the Pope wants to kill the MC? The writing makes zero sense 😀 no structure, no explanations, no depth.
Plot-wise, everything feels cramped, like the author is stuffing too much into a tiny box, and things just fall out and disappear. Characters have no depth; even after 30 chapters, we barely know anything about anyone—including the MC. It all feels shallow and lacking substance.
So far, I’d give this a 3.5/10. Definitely below average, but I’ve seen worse. Just my personal take 😀 totally fine if others enjoy it, but it’s not for me.
