According to wiki, grand swordmaster is equivalent to transformation realm and mc is a realm higher in profound realm which is equivalent to sword king, then mc struggling mean either the ainos guy strength measurement in this world is inaccurate or mc just got weaker but he never mentioned he got weaker after arriving here so what is happening….
Yeah, this is the problem with creating an OP MC in the beginning of your story and making his goal something that is easily achievable with power. The only way the author can create obstacles for him, is to create situations that seem annoying for the reader and unfavorable in a niche way, like “Oh, I cannot fight him right now, because if I show how strong I am, then x or x might happen.” or “He might be trying to kill me, but I need to find out more about how he got here, so that I can return to the place I was.”
The author constantly needs to hype up the MC’s enemies, because that is the only way he can demonstrate just how insanely strong the MC is in comparison. He slaps a genius title, makes his true strength ambiguous and even uses a third party to announce the enemy’s strength and that was just a few panels. The master saying something like “If my disciple was here, things would’ve been different.” just seems stupid…
