I feel like the writer has no idea how programming works. The only way code will look completely wrong at first glance is if it is really wrong, like syntax errors. It’s easy to mistake wrong code as correct code, but it’s very rare for someone with programming experience to mistake right code as wrong at just a glance
He probably used some algorithms/functions that those other idiots did not know and so they thought he was writing gibberish, although it’s still idiotic to say it is wrong by just a glance
