The mc started to become completely different person, unfortunately to the worse kind. He was focused on surviving and like before, so he was ready to do anything to achieve that. But, now? He just became an idiot who talks about kindness, righteousness and sh*ts as if he became so op enough to afford to act like that.
I have to disagree, he’s been the same since the beginning of the story. He always thinks about being kind, but if he has to sacrifice something, so be it.
He’s been saying since the first soldiers funeral that he is there to protect and save lives, he’s always trying to do the morally correct thing even on the darkest of situations. The fact that we’ve seen him able to sacrifice in order to achieve the greater good doesn’t disregard all the instances he’s been stubborn and has tried to get all the good outcomes without choosing one to lose and one to preserve.
Worst about this is, he *can* afford to act like that because it doesn’t change the fact that he’s going to save these NPCs, which will then be in debt with the MC. The collisseum boss is a very valuable ally to have inside the dungeon, and so are the other NPCs since the elf alone is of very high tier.
