I understand Ashs anger, but he himself literally said that if the snake consumes crossroads, it WILL go on to devour the rest of thr world. Raina is obviously doing it to protect the empire, but she’s still saving the rest of the world.
Also wasnt Crossroads evacuated? Sure him losing his fortress would suck a lot but it is a very small price to pay in order to save the literal planet from being devoured😂

So based from the death flag few caapters ago, i’m guessing reina and the red haired crippled guy would be stuck in the city and die. Jormugand will reach the crossroad inevitably (just a guess)
