The keyword is an exiled prince, you can’t expect him to have that much authority to begin with. The point of a story is seeing the character development play out throughout the story. The only loser I see is the one who can’t even comprehend such simple logic.
So, you’re expecting the MC to be a legendary figure from the get-go? He’s basicaly a random dude from “our” present world, so basicaly has no clue about noble/royal ethiquet, and even more when we know he’s asian and that he’s in a westernerish civilisation. He still doesn’t even understand his powers/skills since he has no definitions in what seems to be his system. He has no OP skills, atleast not against living things, so rebelling against a full garison of knights would be utter stupidity. And lastly but not the least, he is an EXILED prince, so no authority exept for the fact that he can’t be killed randomly by the people of the empire.
The loser is most likely the dude who can’t ptocess simple situations and a story developpement.
