I am preety sure from a certain manhwa such is called Mortal Descent and it’s a real thing while the manhwa says it’s definition as “A god with unparalleled power who descends to the origin and lives without power, they must never be reminded of their past or they will perish along with their soul from the world but success will make them become a being whose power cannot be fathomed”
In reality it’s defined as “A test of courage, one must go through 48 reincarnations each being harder than the previous each success increases their strength failure is erasure but success means godhood they can remember that they are go but they cannot use their memories of the past nor can they use the power of the world in the test”
