He’s always trying to choose the choice with the highest survival rate when the system has showed him that’s never going to work.
The most dangerous option is always the right option, if he tries to avoid it it just creates collateral damages(his arm, his wasted lives, the girl and now tis guy’s death) in the end he still has to choose the one he was avoiding.
If he came out since that guy would be alive and before something happens to me the earth demon would probably appear
