My exact thought. I feel like the writer is going off script and or came up with the story using AI. Now it’s getting all muddled up. Oh well, like you, I’ll continue and see how far the writer’s creative juice takes us.
Side Note: This MC is the worst!
The ‘AI’ was not supposed to reveal the fact that it wasn’t AI. The system wanted to hide that fact. Now, we’re just rolling with it cause we don’t have any other name for him. Maybe you haven’t put much thought into it yourself?
