A pop-up event for some ‘modern fantasy’ media I loved so much that I even took a precious day off work to attend.
On that day, I ended up transmigrating as a character in that very fantasy world.
As none other than a newly hired employee at a famous large corporation!
A dream job with great benefits, an excellent salary, and even kind and competent bosses.
I’m using the information I know about the world to rise through the ranks at lightning speed!
Am I happy, you ask?
Please, just let me go home. I’m begging you.

Review. 8 Chapters. This is pretty good, it just is a little bit difficult to start. The first few chapters are difficult to parse. It’s not difficult to read, it is just a bit difficult to understand what’s going on. The premise is that the MC is a reader of the Korean equivalent to the SCP Wiki, but it is about ghost stories. And he is recruited by a company that exists in that fictional world. The problem is that the MC likes to read horror but can’t actually deal with horror, and now has to use his knowledge of the wiki in order to survive ghost stories.

So those manhuas about going into urban legends were a rip off of this novel ,right

This is my first time leaving a comment, so I hope this comes across as constructive feedback.
Personally, I found the story a bit difficult to follow because there is too much focus on the protagonist’s thoughts and point of view. Before a scene gets to its main point, there are often several layers of narration that make me lose track of what is actually happening.
I understand that the author is trying to create mystery and suspense. However, instead of feeling scared or intrigued, I mostly felt confused. It seemed like the story was telling me what to feel rather than allowing the situation itself to create those emotions naturally.
As a reader, I wasn’t sure whether I was supposed to feel fear, curiosity, tension, or something else. Because of the heavy narration, the emotional impact didn’t quite reach me.
The overall experience felt more like reading a novel than reading a Korean manhwa. In a novel, long internal monologues and detailed narration work well because words carry the story. In a manhwa, the visuals, expressions, and scene transitions usually do much of that work. Here, it felt like the narration was carrying everything while the visuals played a secondary role.
The concept itself is interesting, but I think the story would be stronger if it trusted the scenes and artwork more, and relied less on explaining every thought and feeling through the protagonist’s perspective.
