Idk why people are complaining about racism here. I love racism, it is reality and i don’t engage in it but it most definitely belongs in Manhwa. I think most people that complain about it are westerners or brainwashed by western propaganda. No one complains when black people create their own nation (wakanda) and it prospers and has african culture and roots and doesn’t fuck with other races. Because its fking awesome. I’d love to read a story written by an african, indian, chinese, korean or anybody praising their country and showing everyone else in a bad light if the story fits. There are different kinds of fantasy novels, most involve other worlds but if one is based on earth then ofc racism, sexism, nationalism and other things will show up just like they do irl. And thats because not everyone has to follow western apology tour style story writing where they need to worship a race to look good. You are basically a racist if you want everyone to think like a liberal white from some state in the US where everything is made to be about racism. The author hasn’t once said anything about race and its his choice how to draw characters through his artists

Racism is a great tool for creating conflict and friction in literature. Precisely because the vast majority of the world understands that baseless racism is bad.
Unfortunately, in the real world, if you disagree with a certain ideology in any way, you are immediately accused of racism, even if the topic has literally nothing at all to do with race. They’ve so overused it that whenever they call someone a racist now, the person they’re accusing doesn’t care, cuz it means nothing.
