She literally treated the MC like shit for decades when he sacrificed himself day in and day out and got him killed for a man’s attention and didn’t even try to change even when life kept throwing trials at her, do you think she would be in this situation if she tried even a little bit to be a better person? The writer has gone off the deep end. I hate torturers. I have no sympathy at all for them and wish them nothing but harm. To have the author utilize this is unnecessary. If you recall Sword Art Online had a rape scene in it. The author publicly apologized for using the troupe in this modern age.

Although I do believe that this is too much at this point, the majority of the pain she experienced happened because of her own arrogance, and she somewhat does deserve the punishment. In MC’s previous life, she leeched off of MC her entire life, and once she became strong enough, she betrayed him who guarded her from everything and gouged his eyes out. Not only that both in this life and the current life, she has no regard or gratification for her brother, and was still willing to use him and dispose of him later on. Yes, she is receiving a lot of hardship, but the majority of it happened because of who she is. I think she was created just to satisfy some people’s revenge dream, or some kind of F d up imagination of the author.
