Ngl I like the back story but at the same time I cant forgo the notion that all this is just in-game backstory of a little quest. Mc literally gains nothing from knowing all this and its not even an info dump either.
Given how they can bring in-game abilities into reality, I don’t think the dream world is a simple game. It directly affects people’s lifespan, too, so there is a high chance it is a parallel world or some kind of futuristic world.
