If you’re so foolish and lacking in social skills that not only are you unable to perceive the mental state and relationship with the person CLOSEST to and reliant on you you, I’d say you DESERVE to have a betrayal coming. Not morally, not because you’re a bad person. THIS is reality. NOT what the fools you’re gonna see over and over again in the comments think. Abandoning all emotions, living for yourself, being ruthless. These are all “traits” of the MC caused by trauma. It is a way of life, I won’t deny it. But in this manhua, it’s different. It’s not like other series like Han Li(look him up) or any cultivation world. This series is INTENTIONALLY built around cruelty, using certains actions as moral blank checks to dehumanize anyone. You’ll see it over and over again, and you’ll see people in the comments following the author’s twisted mindset, maybe even me before I thought about it.
TL;DR – This series intentionally goes beyond ruthlessness and portrays cruelty to make the reader feel twisted satisfaction and blend right or wrong. It uses moral blank checks as a tool for that. And when you read it, just keep this in mind. Don’t confuse reality for a comic’s twisted logic.

That’s from a story’s percepctive, I want to shit on this from world and abilities logic perspective.
We begin the show seeing how MC is showered with broken abilities and I’m all for that. But the execution? Oh lord. The author’s approach is to shower the MC with abilities and have him upgrade their quality with his unique gift. Fine. But it’s SO inconsistent. Instead of building on anything, improving usage skill, improving character, or anything you’d see in a decent progression, author just showers more abilities on MC, often seeming like he HIMSELF forgets what the fuck he gave the MC. It’s like you were introduced to this broken skill, but in a few chapters it has no relevance, like a cheap dopamine trap. It creates such a shallow MC and world imo. That’s not all. 2) – The MC should be COMPLETELY, ABSURDLY, INSANELY overpowered. Don’t get me wrong, he is overpowered. Strongest in the world. But not nearly as much as he should be. The Author uses the classic “oops I’ve made the MC too strong, time to make everything and everyone around him be stronger than they should”.

Lastly, I will say it’s not too bad a read, and that’s why it’s frustrating af. All these points.
It’s like, this story as some attraction as a way to pass the time, but thinking about it really, it gets more and more insufferable as the story goes on.
