This entire chapter was pointless, and just more or less stood in front of the reader and shoved the plot into your face to make super sure you are following it properly. Its a chapter that could be removed with literally no harm to the story or plot and would be better if was removed.
Now lets get to why our MC didnt beat the guy into a bloody mess… no reason, its bad writing, the entire side plot with that gang is just bad writing to let the author do something, it makes no sense, doesnt follow the MCs … lets call it personality, and doesnt follow at all what he did with everyone else.
