They prepped this arc a little too early in advance, I almost forgot that she's the person that kidnaps Soo-ah and ultimately kills her in one of Seo's Destiny Guide Visions. Hell I've been bingeing this and I've forgotten why she kills Soo-ah, it's no wonder people who have waited for new chapters don't know who or why this bitch is here.

So I'm gonna just theorize a little here.
>The woman who has been revealed to be the sole reason people die around Gangrim, is likely possessed by the god that wants him or a god that doesn't want the other god to have him(although this is much less likely because it's shown that it deliberately lets him live). Because if you think about it, to say that a god can just drop down and intervene like that goes against everything the story has told us thus far but makes sense when you think about everything the story has shown us thus far.
I don't think possession is locked, cause that one guy that got possessed by the disease god immediately got disconnected when the god saw that he wasn't shit.
As for what god it might be, all things considered it'd be easy to say some sort of "Death God" or possibly a "God of Fate", these two choices mainly because these are the main 2 things that happen around him very consistently, someone's fate is being fucked with and they're going to die as a result.

Typically if a strong character refers to their parent as Mother/Father there's a 50/50 chance their an antagonist in some way. So now we wait to see if this guy holds a grudge against MC or not.

As always, they need the drama to make it appealing, it's just a little frustrating, especially if the manhwa is good. It's like in horror movies when someone leaves the car to check a noise: "don't do that stupid"

Essentially what the Agency is trying to do is Level up people for the real fight.
Stage 1 and Stage 2 were created by the agency so that people would be prepared for Stage 3 and beyond which, as stated in the final panels, is the REAL Demon Realm.
As things have been going, the estimated time of clear for stage 1 and 2 was probably somewhere around a few days to a few weeks but Seo caused both stages to be cleared within 1 day which is clearly not enough time for people to sufficiently level up since it seems that they prepared it in a way that when one stage is clear the next stage is unlocked automatically which is why they manually locked it after stage 2 was cleared too quickly.
It's not exactly about people dying costing them anything monetarily it's about it costing them people who could potentially be powerful people who can help the agency protect the world because a single person is opening up harder stages unilaterally.

Cause let's be honest, weak characters being paired with an arrogant main character typically die due to the MC's arrogance(or some other negative trait) because it's usually a stepping stone in their character development, so fuck all that lol

I get it but it'll always be strange for a MC to be like "Nah I'll go solo." while basically trying to protect everything on their own.
It's a trope that's as old as time where it takes the friends they're trying to protect to go "STOP TRYING TO DO EVERYTHING ALONE!" before they slowly starts allowing people to stand beside him.

Any good writer would already have these names in a list, and the higher grade names are just not used till end game so the reader thinking like you wouldn't be aware that instead of however many initial grades are revealed there are actually 2 or 3 more beyond that.
At least a good writer would.

Dumb to begin a story with divine grade powers, that just ruins the whole story as it makes progression worthless when some random people have divine grade powers when there's nothing divine about it, like that random girl in the beginning that just looks like a normal clan member. Instead they should all be in the lowest three. Like nobody should even be in the dragon one… divine should be reserved for the ending. Anyways this creates huge problems if they ever want powers beyond that grade, then they would have to come up with gibberish names for something above divine despite that sounding like the highest tier possible…
