Na…It’s starting to bore me, the story just shows the mc playing with creatures without anything else happening. Improving the mc strength isn’t a priority, and even though he’s learning powerful arts, the combat is just meh. Also, the fact that everything is so cheerful, pretty, and perfect is a bit annoying, the missions feel like a school field trip. I’ve gotten used to the cruel Murim. Depending on the explanation in the next chapter, I’ll abandon it.
I am…. thoroughly disappointed. Of course the author pulls a ridiculous bait and switch where instead of MC getting a decent power up, his pet gets it. I mean, I get that MC getting that power up would probably nullify the entire idea of MC going around and collecting the 10 strongest poisons. But STILL. WHY even set up this expectation in the first place? Maybe instead of setting up all those expectations of what kind of power MC would get, have the pet jump at it as soon as they see the snake give up the core. Rather than have it happen LONG after they’ve been carrying the core out in plain sight for the pets to see.

i enjoyed the early chapters of this but this is just getting bad, give the MC a power up, or have the Snake be another of MC’s main pets
