Things that might happen:
-he finally proceeds with the transfer
-a requirement is met which activates some kind of heroization.
-he loses the will to live, but gets saved by someone.
I’m sorry, but the pink naga NEEDED to die! At this point she was just a plot device meant to emotionally progress “Gloomy” while also SEVERELY limiting his actual improvements in ability.
Without her, he would’ve literally already created a new body CHAPTERS ago. She literally keeps appearing in random, contrived situations because she never listens. For a supposedly “smart” naga, she’s pretty f***ing stupid. Even her death was contrived af. 5 Naga workers couldn’t hold her down and drag her away? Yeah, aight. It was time to take out.
All this “lovey dovey” bullsh*t was starting get in the way of the ACTUAL progress of “Gloomy.” It was about time.
It was stated that the Naga workers are “failed” summons, but retain some traits of their intended class. Gloomy is a mage, for example. Maybe her overly protective nature is a trait from her intended class, like a paladin or bodyguard? That’s what I’ve thought. I also think the two of them will be the secret to determining how heroic tier summons come to be. Like, maybe the actual summons are the failed ones. They don’t seem to have personalities and just do their jobs. Then the workers, who each have personalities, are actually the ones with the potential. So like the regular summons start stronger, but have hard limits, but the workers start weaker with greater potential.
