It can be taken as a hand of fate. Eleven year old kids just constantly being thrown into the frontlines of a full blown war, and even commanding others just leaves a bad taste. Then trying to make it romance with one even going after an adult woman?! Even if it’s just 16-17 and they’re on the verge of adulthood, it’s better than this. Not even the friggin Jedi or Sith put them on the frontlines this young.
