2* lieutenant level up to Colonel bypassing 8 stars with just 10k of merit points during a coop?
While the MC been killing demon mobs that gives 1k of merit plus he kills several higher demons and a territorial demons during his solo travel but only level up to Colonel.
Gaining merit points by being a literal bystander…. I know that this has been happening since the very beginning of the story. But it really is way too ridiculous. So now people who are probably WAY stronger than her have to respect her as a colonel, despite her doing nothing to deserve that rank. Meh.

Most people got their rank from being in a team.
Almost everywhere we see teams of people and only mc is soloing out here.
I would say it is fair that merits are given based on level differences. If a team is eliminating a monster of higher level then they should each get the full merits.
I hope the author expains it and puts a limit of sort.
Also we been missing XP for a while? Like why is he still level 30? Do you get no xp or levels in this place?
